President George W. Bush signed a bill on December 8, 2004 (public law 108-447) which designates every September 17 as Constitution Day. All institutions of higher education that receive federal funding are required to prepare a program to inform students about the US Constitution.

Universities receiving Federal financial assistance must designate at least one employee to coordinate their efforts to comply with and carry out their responsibilities under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), which prohibits sex discrimination in education programs and activities. These designated employees are generally referred to as Title IX coordinators.
The UW-Stevens Point School of Health Care Professionals strongly encourages students to receive a Hepatitis B Vaccination (p. 18).
Note: While there is no institutional policy regarding vaccinations, to prevent disease outbreaks, Student Health Services strongly encourage students to have had all the recommended childhood vaccinations including two doses of MMR vaccine, meningococcal quadrivalent vaccine (types A, C, Y, W), TdaP and an annual influenza vaccination.
